Testimonials
Testimonials are very important in our opinion; they set you apart from the competition. With the IroningWeb content management system you are very easily able to add or edit your customers' testimonials.

Click on the Testimonials button from the Content tab as seen below.

This is the content management grid for Testimonials.

Currently, this is what the Why choose us page looks like. This page is driven from the content in the previous screen shot.

We will now go through how to delete a Testimonial. This is very simple; all you need to do is click the large red X button associated with the grid line you want to delete.

Here we deleted Testimonial with id 5. If you compare figure 4 with figure 2 you will see it has been removed from the grid.

As you can see, it's no longer present on the Why choose us page.

We will now go through how to update an existing Testimonial.

This is very simple; all you need to do is click the edit button, denoted by the pencil and pad.

We are targeting the first entry on the list, the one made by B Simpton in Thatcham, so click on the pencil and pad button.

The following dialog will appear allowing you to edit the text. When you're done, click the Save button on the dialog to confirm your changes.

As you can see, the text in the grid for Testimonial 5 has now been updated.

And again, the text on the Why choose us page has been updated as well.

News
If you would like to publish news updates on your site then the IroningWeb content management system is your friend.

Click on the News button from the Content tab as seen below.

NOTE:If you have no active News articles, the News menu point will be removed from the menu as there is no point in displaying an empty page to your customers.

But first let's view what the News page actually looks like. These are the news items currently being published; each entry is a short snippet of the actual article.

When you click the News Button on Figure 1 you will be directed to the content management grid for News articles. It follows the same principle as the Testimonials, in that the large red X is used to delete an article and the pencil and pad button is used to edit articles.

So let us edit an existing news article by clicking the pencil and pad button.

This form allows you to edit every aspect of the article. If you do not want to display the article right now, just change the status of the article and it will be hidden from view. You are also able to associate a heading image with an article; this will be displayed on the first line next to the heading.

If you are not familiar with HTML then the tools provided to edit the text will come in handy, if you are familiar with HTML then you are always able to tweak the raw text to your liking.

So below, let's set this article to inactive. Change the status of the article to inactive and click the Save to confirm your changes.

As you can see the Status has now been updated on the display grid.

The News page is no longer the item that we marked as InActive.

This is just to demonstrate that if you mark all the news articles as InActive the News menu point is removed from the menu bar.

Surveys
It is always important to know what your customers think of your product and service, that is why we have the Customer satisfaction survey form. This allows them to rate your service and hopefully leave a comment that you can use as a testimonial.

This is the survey form, here you are able to fill in your personal details and then you are able to rate the service.

This is what the form looks like when you are logged in, some of your details are already populated.

If you miss out any of the required fields, you will receive the following notification.

This is the management grid; however you are not able to edit the entries.

Special offers

Back to the grid, you can see the change made to the text on the bottom row of the grid.
