Collection/Delivery report

Report date change
Click on the Collection report image button.

Click on the little calendar image/button named Collection report and you will see that a calendar will become visible. Select which date you would like to view the report for and then click the Run report button to refresh the report.

Include deleted collections
Click on the Collection report image button.

Click on the "Include deleted collection" checkbox. Ensure that this is checked and then click the Run report button to refresh the report.

All deleted reports will show with lines drawn through them. This is handy if you have scheduled a collection and then the customer logged in and deleted it. You could find yourself in a situation where you can not remember if you actually scheduled the report or not. This allows you to see if the collection was indeed scheduled but subsequently deleted.

Update delivery date
Click on the Collection report image button.

As you can see by the below screenshot both collection and deliveries appear on the same report.

In order to update the delivery date, hover over the blue Delivery link. This will open up another fly out that contains a calendar control.

Once you click on the calendar button you will see that a calendar will become visible as depicted by Figure 3.

From here you can select the date you would like to move the delivery too. Select the date and then click the Update button.

The report will update itself and that delivery will disappear from the report for that day.

Now select the updated date from the Calendar control next to the Print version link above the grid and click the Run report button to update the report.

The updated delivery will now be displayed on the report for the updated date.

NOTE: This will not amend the slot, the slot will still be the same but we can fix that in the next section.

Update delivery slot
Click on the Collection report image button.

This section follows on from the previous section as we now need to update the actual slot that the customer is booked into.

If you click on the slot link 12:00 – 14:00 as it is in blue you will have the following screen displayed.

This will show you the Delivery rate of the currently selected delivery slot, in the above example it is Chargeable.

We can now change the selection to the 18:00 - 20:00 slot. Once selected give it a moment just to update the delivery rate. It needs to determine if this slot is chargeable for that specific customer or not.

Again all of this is driven from collection slot setup we did earlier and it will also honour the post code configuration done as part of that setup.

The newly selected delivery slot is Free and if you are satisfied with your selection click the Save button.

If you would prefer to cancel the update, just click the Cancel button.

As you can see, the report has updated itself with the newly selected slot. Also the chargeability statuses for both the collection and delivery have been updated. Previously the collection and delivery were Chargeable, but now the collection is Chargeable but the delivery is marked as Free.

Update special instructions
From time to time your customer might phone up in order to amend an already scheduled collection or delivery. That could be something as simple as notifying you that they are in the back garden and you need to knock loudly, or as complex as changing the delivery date and slot that they specified when originally scheduling the collection.

Fear not as the IroningWeb platform can very easily cope with any of these requests.

Hover over the Notes field, the Notes field is the special instructions that the customer provided when they scheduled a collection.

As you hover you will see that a fly out will appear allowing you to edit whatever has been typed into the notes field.

Once you have the updated text in place, click the Update button to update the special instructions. If you do not need to edit the text, just click the Close button.

After you have updated the special instructions and clicked the Update button you will see that the report will update itself displaying the new set of special instructions ready for your driver to use when they perform the collection run.
